Special Events Intern

The Spirit Center, a non-profit, Catholic-based organization for youth and adult retreats, is seeking a part-time volunteer intern to work in our Corpus office. This position will assist the Director with special projects, including social media and event management. The position will consist of 6-8 hours per week. 

This position may be ideal for students majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Theology, Nonprofit Management, Hospitality Management, Business, or Marketing. We will provide written documentation so that course credit or volunteer hours may be obtained.

Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. Must have a willingness to support the mission of The Spirit Center and the ministry of the Order of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament.

Grant Writing Intern

The Spirit Center, a non-profit, Catholic-based organization for youth and adult retreats, is seeking part-time ONLINE volunteer interns. This position will assist the Director with securing financial support from foundations, corporations, and other philanthropically-minded community organizations. Tasks include online research, proposal writing, record keeping, and assisting The Spirit Center team with reporting requirements. The position will consist of 6-8 hours per week. 

This position may be ideal for students majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, English, or Nonprofit Studies. We will provide written documentation so that course credit or volunteer hours may be obtained.

Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. Must have a willingness to support the mission of The Spirit Center and the ministry of the Order of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament.
