The Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament came to Texas in 1852 and to Corpus Christi in 1871. For over 150 years the Sisters have served in a variety of educational and spiritual ministries for the people of South Texas.

I recently visited The Spirit Center with my fiance, Robert Schonhoeft. I truly enjoyed viewing all of the facility and Sister Michelle both sharing all of the wonderful attributes center has to help facilitate a connection and harmony to our Lord. It is such a special place and all of your hard work and dedication is present in every step we took. Our visit will be treasured and locked away in a beautiful memory to revisit. I hope to visit you soon and bring my granddaughter, Lilah who is 7. Until then, I hope you and Sister Michelle stay well and hope to see you soon.
